🔧 What I Fixed

Linked Google Ads to GA4, rebuilt GTM container with GA4 config, generate_lead event, scroll depth, Facebook pixel for conversions, YouTube engagement tracking, and UTM source capture variables.

Full funnel visibility for the first time. Google Ads data began flowing into GA4. Inflated Direct traffic was traced to real sources. They now had a clear roadmap to improve the 94% drop-off rate.

Over half of their users were being reported as "Cross network" — a catch all that told them nothing about where users came from. UTM parameters weren't being passed through consistently, swallowing the majority of lead source data.

🔧 What I Fixed

Built their GTM container from scratch with GA4 configuration, link click tracking, scroll depth at 5 thresholds, and a rebuilt UTM structure so Cross network traffic was properly attributed.

✅ The Result

The "Cross network" bucket dropped dramatically. Paid Search at 27.4% was confirmed as their strongest paid driver. Scroll depth and rich link click data gave them a real roadmap to improve retention.
